Choosing a dog trainer can be a difficult decision, and I feel that it's unfair to ask
you to make such an important decision based on a phone call. I also think it's
unfair to charge people to simply meet with me to determine if I will meet their
needs. I also prefer to begin training with a plan in place, and not spend half of
my first lesson with you simply getting to know you and your dog. For these (and
many other) reasons, I offer an initial consultation and evaluation at No Charge.
1-Hour in-home Private Lessons: $65/hour
For those seeking help with a particular issue or wishing the flexibility to schedule
lessons as needed, My ala-carte hourly rate is $65 per hour.
Puppy Basics Lesson Pack $200
Specially tailored for dogs between 2 and 6 months, my Puppy Basics pack
includes 4 1-hour weekly private lessons. This package will give your puppy a
foundation in attention, recall, sit, down, and loose leash walking. We will utilize
clicker training and keep training fun and upbeat. We'll also cover typical puppy
issues such as mouthing, housebreaking, socialization and manners. You'll also
get an understanding of how dogs learn which will help you continue your training
after our lessons are over. Package available in your home or at Wignall Animal
Hospital.
Obedience Lesson Pack $300
Obedience training package for dogs over 6 months of age, includes 6 1-hour
weekly private lessons. We'll build on whatever foundation your dog already has,
and work for a reliable recall, sit, down, heel, and go to place. I teach sit down
and place commands with an implied "stay", so your dog will learn to maintain
these positions until you release them. If your dog has a good foundation of
training already, we'll work to improve performance with distraction and increase
reliability in unusual surroundings. By the end of the lessons, you'll have a
completely different understanding of how your dog thinks, reacts and learns
which will help you throughout your dog's life. Package available in your home or

Advanced Lessons Pack $300
Want to continue your training? Thinking about competitive agility or obedience?
This is a package of 6 1-hour weekly private lessons for people who want to
continue to have someone coaching them as they continue their dog's training.
