Puppies are simply adorable.  Their appearance and antics can bring a smile to even the most cold-hearted
person.  Unfortunately, what is adorable behavior now can become exasperating down the road.  Get started
on the right foot and build a healthy, functional relationship with your puppy and prevent intractable behavior
problems from even getting started!
Puppy Training Program
Raising a puppy into a well-behaved, confident,
properly-socialized dog can be a challenging undertaking.  Get
the information you need to set your puppy up for a lifetime of
success.  The second two months (8 weeks to 16 weeks) of your
puppy's life is a critical time for learning.  How you manage this
imprinting period can have tremendous, life-long effects on your
dog's behavior, temperament and interactions with other people
and animals.  My Puppy training program will equip you with the
tools, knowledge and mindset you'll need to start off you and
your pup's relationship on the right foot (and paw!)

The puppy training program consists of an information session,
where you will learn the basics of how your puppy learns, proper
use of the clicker, and tips and strategies to prevent common
behavior problems.  It also includes four training sessions where I
will teach you to train your puppy the basic obedience commands.
Raising a puppy properly is time consuming,
labor-intensive and sometimes frustrating work.  Are
you interested in a young, well-mannered dog but
unable to dedicate the time necessary to do the
foundation work?  Why not let an expert get your puppy
started in a kennel-free home environment?  I will
handle house-breaking, crate training, socialization,
basic obedience behaviors, including sit, down,
recall,and loose leash (no pulling!) walking.  Your
puppy will be primed for further learning as all training
will be done using positive reinforcement, clicker
training and teaching though fun games your puppy will
love!  This 4-6 week program includes a 90 minute
"reunion" lesson where you will learn how to maintain
and enhance the learning your puppy acquired while
away.  This program is available for puppies ages
between 2-5 months.
